January 20, 20188 yr I have a friend who posts approximately every 5-10 minutes on Facebook, approximately every, no scratch that, EVERY day of the week. His posts always start with what the ailment of the moment is and how that moment's ailment is going to affect the remainder of his day/week/month/year/life/eternity........ What really blows me away about his posts is that after he rambles on for 3 or 4 paragraphs about the ailment of the moment, he always ends his posts with something like ".....but I'm not complaining... yada yada yada.......". I have a very simple rule. If you use the entire post to complain about something, that complaint is NOT negated by ending your post with "...but I'm not complaining...". I think it is a fair rule to live by.
January 22, 20188 yr I'll have to add that last one to my list. I've always gone with... Glass is half full (optimist) Glass is half empty (pessimist) Glass is going to have to be washed, either way. (pragmatist) I don't care if the glass is half-full or half-empty. I'm just happy to have a glass. (Mary Englebreit)
January 22, 20188 yr I’m really starting to like the new negative me. How often can you give both Randy and Hoops 5 a dislike in the same thread??? Add bluto to the list!
January 23, 20188 yr Three types of people. Glass half full. Glass half empty. Glass cracked and leaking. You forgot the group that asks: What glass?
January 23, 20188 yr It goes against the spirit of the thread, but this is my favorite rendition of one of my favorite songs: [video=youtube;BC7DO-luqYw]
