MJAlltheWay24 Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 This is a six part mini-series begins on Wednesday, January 24th on the Paramount Network, formally known as Spike TV. Starring Taylor Kitsch as David Koresh. I'm really looking forward to checking this one out.
MJAlltheWay24 Posted January 19, 2018 Author Posted January 19, 2018 I'll definitely DVR it. Got home late last night and set mine as well.
Jumper_Dad Posted January 25, 2018 Posted January 25, 2018 Just a few minutes in but it looks like this may be sympathetic to Koresh. ATF/FBI being shown in bad light pretty early on.

I agree with you @Jumper_Dad. They took a nice angle with the portrayal of Koresh as well as the ATF/FBI's role in the ordeal. I really enjoyed the first episode and I'm looking forward to where they'll take this story.
MJAlltheWay24 Posted February 2, 2018 Author Posted February 2, 2018 Just a few minutes in but it looks like this may be sympathetic to Koresh. ATF/FBI being shown in bad light pretty early on. I was curious what they were doing with the guy in Minnesota. I wasn't old enough to really know anything about Waco when it happened, so I didn't see the connection. But it totally makes sense why they included it and where they are taking that angle. Taylor Kitsch is great in this.
neilman1234 Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 This has been a great show. In the second episode, I thought they did a good job of showing Koresh's controlling side. After 2 episodes, I'm a little surprised that the enemy is at the gates already. The next 4 chapters should be great.

MJAlltheWay24 Posted February 10, 2018 Author Posted February 10, 2018 Week 3 was another great episode. Felt bad for John Leguizamo's character.
All In Posted February 11, 2018 Posted February 11, 2018 With the Winter Olympics causing most networks not to show original programming the whole month of February, Waco is the only game in town and has been very good. Kinda wish this would have been a Netflix show so could have streamed it in a day or two. Taylor Kitsch very underrated actor in Hollywood, even before this
MJAlltheWay24 Posted February 11, 2018 Author Posted February 11, 2018 Taylor Kitsch very underrated actor in Hollywood, even before this Huge fan. Probably his best work.
NEERFAN Posted February 24, 2018 Posted February 24, 2018 I've now seen four episodes and I'm impressed. Rig was a tough nut on the field and showed toughness after taking that slug to the gut.
Jumper_Dad Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 It's been very well done. It would be cool if the same people would make a Jim Jones series.
neilman1234 Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 This was a great series and I can't recommend it enough. The scenes from the government assault were riveting. How they could declare they weren't assaulting the compound when they clearly were is beyond me. Now that the series is over, I'm going to research the heck out of this saga because the "he said, she said" of the whole thing is very intriguing.
