Patriots defense has slowly progressed throughout the season.

 

Jags have the best rushing offense in the league, and have the best pass defense in the league.

 

Can the Jags defense stop the Patriots? Can Bortles and Co. put up similar numbers to what they did today in Pittsburgh vs. New England?

I think the Jags have a chance... The Steelers have more weapons than the Pats, and the Jags handled them twice this season.

 

On the flip side of that, the Patriots defense is exponentially better than Pittsburgh's.

I think the Jags will hold their own, but you’re a fool to bet against the Pats.

It's nothing against the Patriots, but I'd rather the Jags move forward. They've never won one of these, and that's always the tiebreaker for me.

I can't imagine how any neutral fan couldn't be rooting for the Jags in this one. Given their history the last 10 seasons or so they're a great underdog story. That being said I'll take the Pats over the Jags 27-24 on a game winning drive.

Ratings and storylines....Hard for the average fan to be excited about a game that features garbage QBs. The league was praying for a Brees vs Brady/Big Ben matchup.
