Jaguars (offensively) are basically a poor man's version of the Titans IMO.

 

The main difference is the Steelers defense is a lot worse than New England's.

 

I really hope they scheme to stop Gronk, and that it's as effective as it was yesterday (287 yards and 4 TDs)...

 

IMO, everyone keeps ignoring the most dynamic aspect of the Patriots offense. The three-headed dual threat backfield. Much better chance of knocking them off if you contain Lewis, Burkhead, and White as opposed to simply limiting Gronk IMO.

I'm aware. Belichick is famous for taking away his opponent's #1 offensive option. If they can contain Fournette, it'll be very difficult for the Jags.

No doubt. I'm interested to see how they use him next week. Surely, they aren't going to try and cover Gronk with him?

 

There are probably a total of 5 players in the NFL I think could hold their own against him and Ramsey is one. That being said there is no chance that happens. Myles Jack and Telvin Smith are two of the fastest linebackers in the NFL. My guess is a combo of those two and a safety. They're gonna leave the corners one on one with the WRs and hope they dont give up big plays to them.

Yeah it’s still stupid to not give the cliche one game at a time quote whenever pressed by the media. Don’t kid yourself, the Steelers didn’t expect the Jags to come out and put it on them so early. I think they definitely overlooked the Jags. Tomlin said he didn’t have a problem with them talking about the Pats all week. Why give a team that already kicked the crap out of you once this year any more motivation?

When encroachment and false start penaltys are called, they are usually called at that moment. In NE, they are called 15 seconds after the fact.

 

The guy in motion can't start up the field until the snap is made, when NE has the ball it's not a penalty if they start up the field a second or two early.

Always comes down to officials, doesn't it? It's just like when the Bengals and Steelers play, you always hear about all the stuff Pittsburgh got away with. Plain and simple, play better. The "officials aren't fair" is such a lazy narrative.
