I will agree with this statement. I also believe that if we negotiate with our own heart in the right place the Lord will have my back and not let me be taken advantage of.

Well, if the choice is to fashion a golden calf (perhaps Cat in this instance) or hold his arms up,,,I suppose I would have to hold SB's arms up, but how would he enjoy some fine Anderson popcorn like that? Perhaps Rickyp can toss a few in there.

The action is simple, with one arm it would resemble the spiking of a volleyball or a throwing motion, obviously if both appendages are used it would be of the two armed variety. Usually this motion is vertical but occasionaly I have seen a horizontal and even diagonal version. I have seen it performed sitting and standing. I have even seen sections synchronize the movement resulting is a score of 9.8. If a person wants to stick the landing they can include a head nod or a spin at the end.

 

I forgot about the 7 bills, maybe SB can donate his RickyP popcorn purchase to GIAT as a gesture of good will.

Boys, I don't want to sound like a broken record but, from some of your posts, it is clear that I need to clarify my position a little. It has nothing to do with winning or losing. I feel fairly sure that, with the arrangement, Ashland will win. I thought I had made that clear.

 

My position is that I see no benefit to Rose Hill from the game. Ashland gets the home game. Ashland gets the greenbacks. Ashland has no duty to schedule a game in the future and, unless Rose Hill dumps on Fairview and votes to seed, there will be no game next year. Rose Hill's best chance this year is to "sneak up" on Ashland like it almost did last year in the district tournament. This game will pretty well remove any "sneaking up" since Ashland will be familiar with Rose Hill.

 

To my Rose Hill compatriots, I ask, "Where is the benefit?" I don't want to hear that it is all for the kids because I find that to be less than true. Also, don't insult anyone with the "peacemaking" deal. That is not likely- particularly after this year. Rose Hill gains nothing. Ashland gains much. Again, where is the benefit?

I believe it was the first game between Ashland girls and Rose Hill that was concelled and Ashland didn't play Morgan Co.

With all due respect, Bailey, you are both correct and incorrect. The first game was to be at Rose Hill and was postponed, not cancelled, due to the death of David Garnes. Ashland did not play Morgan County but, nonetheless, could have made up the Rose Hill game. They found excuses not to do so.

 

Any "insight" as to why they didn't schedule Rose Hill for this season other than the spin of no room available on the schedule? I'll bet they have room next year.

 

My point is that Ashland has been disingenuous in its dealings with Rose Hill and the girl situatuion is merely one of many possible examples in the last few years. My problem is that Rose Hill apparently has learned nothing.
