You've gotta take into consideration that Coach Biggs probably doesnt have a lot of knowledge about the inner workings Ashland/RH relationship over the last 5 years or so. He wants to play games the will prepare us for March and obviously playing RH is the way to do that.

Uh - correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the Kittens play the Lady Royals last year, when Rose Hill was L-O-A-D-E-D with talent?

 

I don't think Bradley would "duck" Rose Hill this season, after facing them last year.

Frances, probably for the first time in recent history, you did miss something. The teams played once last year- at Ashland- with Rose Hill winning handily. The second game- at Rose Hill- was postponed due to the tragic death of David Garnes but was to be rescheduled. Ashland ducked rescheduling the game claiming that it had no openings. However, Ashland did, near the end of the season, find an opening to schedule a new home game with lowly Morgan County.

 

For 2006-2007, Ashland claims that it filled its schedule and had no openings to schedule Rose Hill. Of course, all its other "neighbors" are on the schedule.

 

Consequently, as you suggested, I am correcting you because you are wrong. You can check it out.

 

Now, don't get me wrong. I am for a true "reconciliation" as much as are most. However, I do oppose what may, in light of all the facts and not just the mere scheduling of a game or two, end up as a unilateral surrender.

SB I believe that you will soon be visited by the ghosts of Christmas' past, present, and future. If that is not the case, then you may actually have green pigmentation and live on a mountain above Whoville.

So be it. But, then, we shall see who is correct in the end, won't we?
