Playing UC so close can't help UofL's chances for a national title.

Nah. Ohio State had a lot of close ones on their way in '02. I think little changes. The formula for success has always been the other teams ahead of Louisville losing, not them jumping over them.

But if they are strugglin with UC how are they going to compete with the Mountaineers?

Just got back from the game...Cards looked bad..well the offense anyway.

The Cards had just about everything go wrong....Brian making bad passes, dropped passes, and 2 lost fumbles inside their own 20. Heck even the Cardinal Bird missed the stadium on his parachute jump!

I actually think that Hunter would have done a better job today...but Brian needed this to work out the bugs and get back in the swing.

Good Things:

Defense

Kolby not playing as much as Bolen and Allen.

Special teams looked better.

The guy at halftime missed winning a car because his field goal hit the upright.....To play that bad and still win is good. It gets everyone's head back to earth.

tOSU also had major problems with UC in the Shoe, and it hasn't hurt them too bad. UC has played a top 5 schedule so far, and have held their own a LOT better than expected...

UC must open up the O, and fast. That D is young and VERY aggressive. The Cats are much better than most realize...

Did they stomp the bird? Please tell me they stomped the bird! Louisville about blew it big time today! Live to play another week thought!

UC didn't stomp on the poor little birdie...

First off, let me congratulate UC on playing one heckuva game...They put it all out there and definitley came to win...I'll have a serving of crow for calling a 3-TD win...

Louisville flat out looked terrible today...The offense did nothing, Brohm wasnt really impressive, Kolby Smith can't catch to save his life, and Mario dropped 3 or 4 balls today. The run defense was horrid, IMO. Grutza ran for a first several times...Why is Patrick Carter STILL returning punts???? #1 He's slow, #2 his longest punt return this year is only like 15 yards, and #3 he drop's a punt at least once a game...We are lucky to have held UC to only 10 points in the first half...

I don't agree there. UC made sure they weren't even going to try for a TD each time...

U-L-G-Y

you ain't got no alibi

you UGLY!

That's what I call that win. The recievers looked like me.
