Steelers release James Harrison

Featured Replies

I am rooting for neither the Pats or the Steelers in the playoffs. With that said I am also realistic in understanding that it is going to be these 2 teams. When in doubt go with the lesser of two evils. Go Pats! I hope Harrison gets to sack Ben or put a big hit on Leveon.

Hope he goes and gets a ring with the Pats!

Saw picture of him and Brady on Facebook with caption Beady now has a teammate now that is actually older than him. Pretty cool.

You have to think that all they will really use him for is info on the Steelers D and their calls in certain situations. I wouldn't be shocked if he barely sees the field.

Hoodie is 9-3 vs Pittsburgh, not sure how much intelligence Harrison can supply. I have a feeling we may actually see a few big plays from him during the playoffs.

This is why New England is New England, and everyone else isn't!

I'm shocked they did this.

You must not pay much attention to your team then. He has been ticked off all season.

Put me in the camp that will be cheering for New England in the AFC Championship. I love when they do stuff like this.

Got a feeling he comes up with a couple huge plays down the stretch.

Steelers players are salty. :lol2:

Harrison barely played, why are they so butt-hurt over this?

My man! Welcome aboard!

I guess it's how you interpret it. He complained about playing time, and a couple players have said he regularly missed meetings. I wouldn't call that salty.

Exactly. He asked to be released.

Personally I don't have an issue at all with the release or his new signing. He wasn't going to play, so why keep him? He's a fraction of what he used to be and if you're not going to use him, no reason to "hold him back."

Seems salty to me....

I guess we have different definitions of salty, because that doesn't strike me as such.
