Featured Replies

Final from KOB.

Nobody beats Trinity if they shoot like that.

Goodness. I’ve never seen a team shoot three’s like that....

Scrubb finishes with 32, 27 from behind the arc.

Kunkel had 35. 6/10 from 3.

That is a GREAT game and shouldn't be overlooked in the loss. Question is, can he get a little more help to beat the other elite teams.

Kunkel has a great motor.

I think Trinity is the best or one of the best 3-point shooting teams in the state, per the KHSAA statistics.

I just chalk it more up to Trinity making 19 three pointers. No team will beat Trinity if they make 19 threes. I think that shows how good Cooper is and that they truly can beat anyone. Even if Trinity only makes 14 threes, Cooper would have won this one lol. Just an amazing night of shooting by Trinity. I would be willing to bet if they play again Trinity won't make 19 threes.

Coopers defense wasn’t any less relentless, Trinity just had the size and shooters to shoot over it.

I just wish Trinity had gotten Rondale Moore out to run the point guard spot, and if they could have gotten DeSales best player not to transfer. Weining would have given them a little more size under the basket.

I thought Kunkel was the best player in the semi-finals. I sat right behind the Cooper bench and their coach reminded me of Buzz Williams, formerly the coach at Marquette now at Va. Tech. No. 12 for Cooper (McNeil-?) played well, too. Thought the Jags got a little tired at the end as Trinity had more depth to open the 23 point lead. Cooper played a 1-3-1 most of the game with an occasional 2-3. Do they normally play so much zone? This was a high level basketball game.----at least on the offensive end.
