Congratulations to the Tomcats on the win and to Drew McDavid for setting a new record for career pass receptions. Mahan, Thomas, Davis, Cordle, K. Burns, both Bonners and the O-line all had solid games. I loved the Davis hit.

Lawrence Co. doesn’t have any quit in them – you have to respect that. Good luck to the bulldogs the rest of the way and I hope you get your program back on track next year.

Nice win for the Tomcats. Another team effort against a very stubborn Lawrence County football team. Congratulations to D. McDavid on putting his name in the record books.

The Ashland kicker had another solid game, as did the O-line.

Stay Focused!!!!

Congrats to the Tomcats on the Win.:thumb:

The cats played solid at times, but will have to play alot better next week. Cordle was a beast on defense, I think he had over 12 tackles and ran the ball well on offense. Burns had another solid game, making alot of heads up plays.

Good luck to Lawrence County the rest of the year..

Good win for the Tomcats! Matt Thomas ran really well with 185 yards on 18 carries and Mahan continues to improve. Congrats to one of my all time favorite Tomcats Drew McDavid! He only needs 8 more yards for the all time yardage record at Ashland. I cant believe no one has mentioned Fields David MASSIVE hit on #59 for LC in the 4th quarter. Man that kid got drilled!

That was a large hit . But one hit that most of Ashland fans might not have seen was when Kyle Carter chilled #71 it happend on LC's side of the field when thier QB was makeing a cut back this kid was in a daze for about 3 or 4 plays before he starting acting normal he was in la la land for a while but give him credit he never came out of the game he's a tough kid :thumb:

I saw that hit and you are correct.... it was a good one. Glad to see all of these players were OK. :thumb:
