Just Hangin Around
I don't know why they don't try Jeff Piecoro. He's been around for years, does a great job with pre-game and after game duties. I don't think he has the time with his other duties and I'm sure he's been approached.
ColonelPops
Kelch is calling the UL game today on ESPN3/ACC Network.
plantmanky
You've got to be the most negative person in the world I guess on the radio Danny can flip off people as many times as he wants, no one will see it.
CincySportsFan
Okay, so removing Kelch...and then adding Graves and LeCure...and that's having fewer people doing games? Making in simpler? Gotcha.

plantmanky
Maybe some people deserved it True words. This town and its fans deserve what they get. They idolize the worst guys ever in their franchise, put them on pedestals, heck make statues of them and put outside. It doesn't make sense. NKYFootballer
I have been listening to the Spring Training games and I am starting to like Jim Day in the booth. Him and the cowboy are good together. Jeff Piecoro would be good also. He does well helping call UK football games

They idolize the worst guys ever in their franchise, put them on pedestals, heck make statues of them and put outside. It doesn't make sense. Pete Rose was idolized because he was the hometown hero, fans loved the way he played the game, and he was baseball's Hit King. I'm sure most people, including myself, knew nothing of his alleged encounters with under aged girls. The statue became way before all that news broke. What part didn't make sense before that? Committed the cardinal sin of baseball Convicted of fraud and tax evasion Convicted Felon. All of the above was decades before the statue.
ukcatfan17
I love the cowboy's broadcasts. He really knows what he is talking about...esp. pitching (surprised he isn't a pitching coach for the team). I think his Texas drawl also makes him easier to listen to. I hope he replaces Marty (btw...time to retire fella even though it will sound strange not hearing that voice anymore). My guess is Marty jr. Will be offered the position. jpa2825
Kelch is calling the UL game today on ESPN3/ACC Network. Was pleasantly surprised to hear him. Wonder if that means he will be back with the Bats this summer?
