Christian Co. wins another. Hows the QB doing from Christian Co. Coach Whitaker told be this summer that he had one heck of a QB has he panned out to be what i was told.

The young man, Keith Tandy, is all that he is advertised on the football field...will he go somewhere I don't know if any schools have offered. But he is fun to watch...unless you are on the opposing sideline

Heck, I had fun watching him last year when they beat us in the playoffs.

Williams is pretty good, tigertalker ... I don't know that he's better than Taylor, but he's pretty tough.

I suspect just4fun saw both guys against Mayfield. If memory serves, both had big games against the Cardinals.

You are correct, Westsider...I'm not trying to take anything away from Taylor, he's tough, but, imo, Williams is the best RB i've seen all year..He's so hard to tackle and the Cardinals hit him time and again and he just kept those legs churning..I can't say that for Taylor because he was never touched in the game I saw..

UK, UL, West Virginia, Vanderbilt, and 2-3 D1 have offered Tandy. He's gotten 7-9 D1 football offers and is being recruited by several D1 schools to play baseball especially some ACC schools for baseball. Football wise he is getting looks as a WR or DB maybe a CB. Rumor has it Vandy is in the lead right now for his services but that could change. He is close to his cousin Curtis Pulley (Kentucky) and talked this summer about likeing the idea of playing with Pulley at the next level.

Tandy gets done on and off the playing fields/courts. Strong academically and represents his family with class.

Don't get me wrong I like the Williams kid. No Coach would cringe at the idea of having him on their team. I do think he is more versatile than Taylor.

In this game though I wouldn't be suprised to see Williams get his and open up the passing game for Barga. Last year Christian had no one to matchup with Williams when he went in motion or lined up outside. This could be the game where Mike Whitaker lets Coach Lovelace have Tandy and a couple more offensive athletes to play some defense. Christian Co. has been inconsistent in the run game this year and Marshall is solid defensively. Special Teams could be huge in this game Christian doesn't possess the kicking game they have in the past and this could be an area where Williams really gets his and gives the Marshalls field position. The same goes for Tandy when he drops back on punt returns.

As Tigertalker is alluding to, Williams is a very good receiver, too. That probably makes him more versatile than Taylor. As strictly a running back, I would give Taylor a slight edge.

Taylor is taller and seems to have more speed, but Williams seems to be able to make more cuts and has a better vision of field. At least from what I have seen both Marshall and Hopkinsville games against Mayfield.

While they both bring a lot of talent to the table, I for one, am glad they're not in the SAME backfield, as are their opponents....
