GoBigRed
Everybody seems to think that this is going to be a high scoring affair, I know that Marshalls defense is pretty good, how is Christians?
Chicks dig Scars
Christian has a potent offense with Tandy at the controls and a tough run defense. Christian 35-14.
westsider
Christian's run defense isn't that tough. Marshall ran all over them last year and could do so again. If Marshall doesn't turn the ball over, they have a good chance to win this game.
Chicks dig Scars
Henry Clay and Hopkinsville are the only teams to really light up the scoreboard with meaningful points with the run and Marshall Co has no Minnifields or Taylors carrying the ball for them. Christians schedule has been much tougher as well.

Chicks dig Scars
Williams is good, but he's not in the same league as Minnifield or Taylor. I watched Greenwood shut down Williams for the better part of 3 qtrs.

Thats hilarious..MCs Alan Williams is one of the top RBs in ths state..I think he has like 30 Tds or somewhere close in 7 games...I've seen he and Taylor both play and imo, he's better than ET... Tigertalker
Williams better then ET, you my friend have no ideal what you are talking about. Ask someone who played against both of them like Mayfield.
westsider
Williams is pretty good, tigertalker ... I don't know that he's better than Taylor, but he's pretty tough. I suspect just4fun saw both guys against Mayfield. If memory serves, both had big games against the Cardinals.

They will have a tough time containing Tandy and Co. ... in their case, their best defense is a consistent, ball-control offense.
cardinalsvoice
Williams better then ET, you my friend have no ideal what you are talking about. Ask someone who played against both of them like Mayfield. They are both great running backs and do great things for their team...hard to say which one is better...Taylor looks more impressive because he is a taller player, but Williams runs so low to the ground and has extremely strong legs he is like trying to tackle a bowling ball. Marshall has plenty of ways to get him the ball...a piece of advice for the Colonels...if you have to punt...punt it away from Williams as that is when he is at his most dangerous. I wish this game was played last week when Mayfield had their open date as it would have been worth actually paying the price of admission. Should be a fun game to watch. I have no dog in this fight...the only bad thing is that one of these two teams will probably drop out of the top ten in Class 4A with the loss even though they probably won't deserve it as I will put the district down here in Class 4A with any district in the state as far as the four playoff teams that will probably come out of it. Should be a fun couple of weeks with these games and then seeing the four teams...Marshall, Christian County, Warren Central, and Graves County duke it out for the distict title in the postseason.
