John Anthony
Rumors are they are vetting him like UK did with Cal. Also heard Strong would be a backup. Time will tell.
bugatti
2) Chip HATES recruiting. Good thing about Florida is you don't really have to work that hard at it. Just get in your car and within a 2 hour radius you can build a pretty solid recruiting class every year. I have touched upon this before, but it is still a mystery as to how he will blend in without being in obscurity on the recruiting trail. Chip is a strange dude. He loved coaching at the 1-AA level and said his dream job would be Navy.
All State Baseball
Florida: On the Buddy Martin Radio Show, Steve Spurrier noted that he believes the Gators will have “an excellent coach here in 3-4 weeks,” and then added; “The coach is with his team now. The coach we’re going to hire is probably, I would almost 100 percent say is coaching his team today, this weekend, and through the end of the season, and maybe through the bowl game.” http://footballscoop.com/the-scoop/

I would imagine the first call he would make would be to someone with some natural ties to recruiting in Florida.

bugatti
I think he will succeed, but I am not as convinced as others that Kelly will hit it out of the park at Florida.

bugatti
Why? Because of the reasons I stated. Also, a major part of the gig at a high profile school is the ability to schmooze it up with boosters and overall have a dynamic personality. Kelly is not that guy. RoyalWildcat
I think the Chip Kelly offense would bring a different flavor to the SEC so I can see it being successful. It would also be beneficial to Alabama as they would see more of the West Coast offense to play against since people claim that is the weakness in their defense. 16thBBall Fan
I agree with what most have said, I think Chip Kelley could probably dominate in Florida. SPEED SPEEED SPEEEEED!!! You are correct just like Gilley Walker on the Andy Griffith show according to Goober. lol
