LCDAWGS19
I've long been an "after Thanksgiving" guy. I'm changing my stance...if putting your tree and lights up in September makes you happy, so be it. You do you. I'll likely wait until December, but not judging anyone who does it differently. TAC
No tree at all for me this year. I might string up some lights somewhere. I jokingly suggested this to the Mrs. tonight. It was not. Good idea.
True blue (and gold)
I jokingly suggested this to the Mrs. tonight. It was not. Good idea. They are just sooooo much work. I must admit, a nicely lit tree in the dark is pretty awesome, though. But a dislike...really?

Yeah, but then you have to have little ornaments and little lights and a teeny star...to much hassle!
Randy Parker
They are just sooooo much work. They are. And that's partly why we put our stuff up on November 1st. If it takes so much work, might as well enjoy it a while longer. I must admit, a nicely lit tree in the dark is pretty awesome, though. And this is another reason. All our lights in the house are off at 5:00, save for the Christmas tree and other Christmas lights in the house.

Randy Parker
Except for the leg lamp, right? I'd leave that on all year, but I'm not allowed. :lol2:
