Won by 30ish- CE played great but Highlands was missing players!! Regardless very good win for CE!!

Having seen both of those teams, that surprises me.

Doesn’t surprise me -

Gray has really struggled this year, they are really missing the extra guard that was cut this year-

 

Woodland is a good team and will compete with any NKY 7th grade team!

I liked Gray early with the big kid in the post, the St Henry kid on the wing, and the super quick point with blonde hair.

Looks like Conner is team to beat... They sit in a zone and they have big kids and stuff the paint...Will be tough to beat

I’ve watched a bunch of 7th grade basketball this year.. there are 4 teams that can beat anyone on any given night (Conner,CE, CC and Highlands)— If Conner plays good then they will be tough out, if they play under potential like they did yesterday, then any of the teams above will beat them..

i would predict that they lose one or both games next week as Conner is on the road playing CE and Highlands!

I’m not sold on 7th Camp Ernst and Campbell County. CE is streaky they have some size but lack guards... Campbell is one dimensional with the big hold back kid...

Don’t disagree but watching Conner play several games over last two years i have noticed they don’t match up well against long athletic teams.. should be some really good games next week- there is a CC/Woodland game that will also be a must see -

Grey not even close to woodland in 7 grade. Woodland beat them easily 3 or 4 times as 6 graders without casey hillbert Don’t count woodland 7 grade out of being their in the year end tournament

Beechwood 7th can't be overlooked. They have a really good class.

CC not one dimensional, they have several nice scorers on that team, knocked the #1 seed out last year ? You get the hamilton kid going along with there guards they are a tough out.

Hamilton from CCMS is a hold back. Should be an 8th grader. Still a great player but that is how the best players are these days. Hold backs at every age!!!

 

Got the scoop from daddy today at the gym! He has an April birthday and yes that makes him one of the oldest kids in his class. Mom is an educator and I'm guessing had a pretty good gauge on whether he should have gone earlier or start when he started. When he was 4 his little brother Hunter passed away and it was very traumatic for the entire family. This may have played into whether or not Aydan should start school when he did. As for his physique, he has worked out with a couple of different trainers for the past few years. I look forward to seeing him play!

Wow, kids with April birthdays are now graduating at age 19 rather than age 18. No wonder some of these kids are dominating at the middle school level.
