But the good news is, Kentucky High School Football is winning.

I stripped out the results of 2 weakest teams on top 3 teams schedule and came up with following:

 

1. Trinity 147.45

2. Covington Cath 141.48

3. St.X 131.31

 

Seams more realistic.

 

That makes a lot more sense, and I believe that is a fair representation of the Top 3 teams right now. Thanks for doing that.

Lit ratings, Cantrell, Saragren or what ever rating system is used, theyre only as good as their paramenters....the best part of them is that they rule out the human bias that you get in the AP polls etc.

Throw the BGP Polls in there too, it is all just Subject Soup.

I tend to find the BGP polls pretty fair. I don't know how many people vote in your polls or how many of the voters see games in other regions ....but in my mind's eye they seem to get it fairly right....but then its my bias opinion.

I disagree in this case.

 

Other than maybe CovCath, Trinity should be rated at least 21 points higher than every other team in Kentucky.

 

No quarrel with you at all, Ru. I don't like ANY mathematical rankings. Cantrell. Maxpreps (especially garbage).

 

The best we can expect from mathematical rankings is that they will roughly put the better teams in the better slots. Comparing individual teams against another is totally impossible, though.
