They did but to be fair was backup kickoff team and kicker. Not sure if he meant to do it or not looked like he slipped to me. Ashlands kickoff stradegy is to kick the ball on the ground all season.

No they don’t. Coach Love doesn’t roll that way. You’re totally seeing something that’s not there. Your info is way wrong here.

Were they lined up for an onside kick? I didn't see it, I started heading to the car prior to the extra point. The game was a bit chippy, likely the most chippy game Ashland has played this season, I would blame that on the refs as much as I would the kids from either team, as they never took control. I really can't see Tony Love calling an onside kick at that point in the game though, chippy or not.

Ask Boyd County. Boyd County beat them this summer in a 7 on 7 game. Ashland gets mad over it, runs it up on them during the season, 67-0.

Like I said you have bad info. Ashland didn’t come close to running up the score against Boyd County. Ashland could have won that game 100-0. They played most Freshman the entire 2nd half. Boyd County was just awful. They had kids quit and they played a lot of young kids themselves.

The kid missed the kick plain and simple. It wasn’t at onsides kick or call. Coach Love is a quality guy and doesn’t deserve to have his character questioned.

So are we talking about a 7 on 7 game or a varsity game? As far as the Varsity game with Boyd goes, yes the kids did quit prior to the Ashland game and yes Ashland played the JV and freshman once the running clock started. You must have some bad info if we're talking about 11 man football. The fact that Boyd beat Ashland in a 7 on 7 game during the summer has nothing to do with tonight's game or even the district game versus Boyd. Let it go man, you're reaching for something that isn't there.
