November 3, 20178 yr When is it time to start wondering/worrying about the Cavs? 3-5, losers of 4 straight and just horrendous on the defensive end. Their defensive problems have continued from last season. Teams are getting what they want, when they want. They gave up 30+ in each quarter against the Pacers the other night. The Pacers obviously no longer have Paul George and their best player, Myles Turner, was out with an injury. Other bad news... they have yet to play a Western Conference team. They went 16-14 against the West last year and the Cavs are worse. Teams like the Magic and Pacers are better than people give them credit.

Watched their game against the Pacers the other night. Absolutely horrible from the 3 pt. line, and they still kept chucking it up there. When they're hitting them from beyond the arc, they're tough to defend, because they'll have 4 or 5 guys that can stroke it. But, man, when they're missing...it's ugly.
November 3, 20178 yr All of Minnesota's wins have come down to the wire. Wednesday's victory at New Orleans was their first victory by more than 3 points. They stand at 5-3 with a good shot to nab another victory over the Mavs on Saturday. Also, people know how much I love KAT. But he is not in the same class (yet) as Boogie or Davis. They made him look foolish all night. Taj, Jimmy Butler,and Jamaal Crawford have brought another level of toughness to the team. They still stink on the interior defensively. Need to find a way to get Baz going off the bench more consistently. Tyus Jones is still the worst player in the NBA.

Well, actually that is the goal every game, but you know what I mean Haha, yeah I know what you mean. But, honestly I think that's their philosophy...to simply overwhelm their oppenents with scorers. I mean if their defense is bad now, what the heck is it going to be when Isaiah Thomas gets on the floor?

I mean if their defense is bad now, what the heck is it going to be when Isaiah Thomas gets on the floor? You would have to check with the head coach and GM LeBron on that one. They assuredly will be worse on defense, and on offense I am not seeing how a ball dominate 5'10" PG is going to help.

They will end up a 1 or 2 seed still because the East is horrible. They make the finals again. Then just have to find away to put 4 great games together in 7 games to beat their first true tough team in the finals. I am sure they will, but the defensive flaws will still be there. They were the #2 seed last year but in the lower third defensively. Pays to be in the East.
