October 27, 20178 yr I've never played in an IDP. I almost believe they would be just as fluky. It's just too hard to predict how any one player or whole defense is going to score from week to week. It's all just so completely random. Not to mention drafting. I have no idea how I would approach that.

October 27, 20178 yr Two top 10 players this year are defenses :lol2: Best Def last season ended the season ranked 42nd with 11.6 points per game and in 2015 the best Def ranked 31st with 13.6 points per game. This season so far, is an anomaly.
October 27, 20178 yr There has been talk of adding IDP over the years. I don't think there's been any serious discussion, but it's been thrown around. Could you imagine the draft? The American Conference would have to start drafting in January to finish a draft if we included IDP. They are starting tomorrow.

It's simply the best way to avoid ties. I don't think someone on your bench should have any impact on the game you are playing.
