To me that's not a dumb move at all by Bishop. They were down 31-13 and the kid is still giving it all he has to make a difference in the game sometimes it can turn out for the best sometimes it can go to the worst. That was not an EKU coach or scout that was simply his grandfather walking over with Bishop's mother and father to check on his injured grandson. That is how rumors get started.

The effort was not dumb at all, and i know that is how he plays, but the fact that he lead with the crown of his helmet is something he will probably regret. David Pollick did the same kind of thing and is lucky to be able to walk.

Well the man looked like an EKU scout to me, i didn't know that his grandpa had close ties to EKU and would be wearing one of their official looking jackets. Besides that i don't see whats so negative to say that EKU might be recruiting him, when they most likely are doing so.

This game was not close. Camels never punted one time. Camel QB in for whole game makes it even worse. SK had no answer for Griffin who may turn out to be the best in the area.

Sk played this game with no emotion, thats why CC won.

Bishop is fine and will play next week.

That is great news. He took one heck of a hit in the ear hole. One of the Camels told me he was scared for Bishop when he saw him on the ground and his eyes rolled back and he wasn't movig.

He didn't say there was anything wrong with saying there was a scout, it was just false, and although I love Bishop, I honestly do not think EKU is seriously scouting him, at least not at running back...

That said, why does everyone keep saying Bishop got hit, he went in and hit the kid, they were both ready for it and they both hit eachother, if I had to pick who actually made the hit it would be Bishop hitting the lead blocker so a teammate could make the tackle (which they didn't), and I had a good view since I was on the fence right next to the collision

Brown and Bishop collision occured just as the runner had gotten clear. Bishop was the last person who really had a chance to get the runner. I was along the fence as well.

So you saw Bishop inflict the hit as well as Brown then correct??

I agree Bishop was the last one with a real chance but from his point of view he was just trying to take out the lead blocker, anyway you look at it it was an intense collision.

Point taken. He might be able to make it as a fullback or another power position.

I personally was watching something else in the play, i don't remember what, so i didn't see the play, but everyone there said the same thing you did. It was more of a mutual hit, where Bishop hurt himself more than the other kid hurt him.

It happened just after we got there, maybe 5-10 minutes after, I was told BC I didn't see they play, Bish took on the lead blocker and it was a hard hit.

Bottom line glad both are going to be OK,... wish he'd been able to play the second half... As well as CC's QB...

I agree with NKSL, it was one of the hardest collisions I've ever seen in a high school game. As I said in an earlier post, they weren't both lucky they were more seriously hurt. CCCCRRRRRRRUUUNNCCHHHHHHHHH.

I agree that if Bishop goes it will be as a fullback or some other position.

That was a great hit and both are lucky they weren't more seriously hurt, Bishop gave everyone a scare when he was motionless on the ground, and Brown looked out of it on the sideline, good luck to both the rest of the season.
