Delta Airline Policy: No National Anthem sung aboard plane?

Or an observation of silence is deemed more respectful.

Just doesn't seem like a national anthem kind of time.

Is free speech clocked?

Delta doesn't have to afford you free speech.

The free part isn’t always as advertised.

whether or not right time ,what’s more respectful, etc, she was told it’s against company policy to sing the anthem. My question is simply is “ O Canada” or “God Save the Queen” or another country anthem on the banned list and even a step more where can we find that information?

What's more respectful? Shutting your trap and showing respect in silent. Say a prayer if that's your thing. Going passenger to passenger asking if they will join you in singing the NA just doesn't ring out as respect for a dead soldier being unloaded from a plane.

As far as the rest of it who cares. Does it really bother you that much? It's their plane. If they don't want you singing the NA they have that right. You don't like fly American.

So I can look in Sky Mall and find a list of banned songs on the opposite page of the available drinks and snacks? None of my post said I’m bothered by it...just asking questions? So if I’m in my seat and have ear buds in listening to Whitney Houston’s rendition from

the Super Bowl and am singing out loud they are going to tell me to stop? I get the going passenger to passenger but they specifically came to her seat and said she couldn’t sing??

Apparently not on the banned list although from 2012. Mormon Tabernacle choir on a Delta flight.

Another song not banned “Glory Halleluah”, from a high school choir as soldier taken from plane in 2016.

Everyone likes the concept of freedom, that’s why those who live here, stay to complain about it.

Along with my take of the tired "patriotism" contest that I had previously spoke of, I'll add to it the "I'm a better steward of our country's freedoms including the Amendments of the Constitution" contest.

Oh dear God!

Amen, sister. :lol2:
