This. The lady comes off as extremely petty and well, pathetic IMO.

I agree with the others that this was not the time for the national anthem, even if she had just sung it herself. Just doesn't fit.

 

If somebody had told me that the passengers had just started singing a song, the one that immediately comes to mind would be Amazing Grace. Perhaps The Battle Hymn of the Republic would be another choice, but I don't think as many people know the final verse, which would be the most appropriate for a time like this.
