I believe Casey was batting and Jeter threw to 1st and Sheffield had to come off of the plate to get it.

That is correct, imo if Sheffield had more eperience at first base he would had gotten the out. I think that this is only his 4th game at the position, not sure. I know that he hasn't had many there.

Gameday, has pitch speeds, counts, batter and results. Impressive and for a small fee, you can listen to an audio feed of the playoffs.

^ Kind of off subject, but everytime Mark Proctor comes in relief, I always think of the movie Police Academy and wonder if Joe Torre gets on the phone and says, "PROCTOR!! Move it, move it!".... probably not, but funny to think about anyways.

I do not mind Joe, personally. Only thing odd is when they show the camera up in the booth, something just does not look right. Joe is always leaning back into his colleague... I don't know, something weird about it.
