No one could place a ball( either infield or outfield) better than Carew. He was magical with a piece of wood in his hands.

I consider myself lucky to have been able to watch two of the greatest pure hitters in Carew and Gwynn. Now if someone can just invent that time machine so I can go back and see the likes of Williams and Musial, I'll be set.
