The Tigers remained undefeated (2-0) as they came home with a 30-19 victory over 5A #2 Bowling Green on Saturday. Fairdale evened their record at 1-1 with a 47-18 over 5A Nelson County. This game should prove to be a mismatch.

Name the score. St. X by as much as they see fit.

Agreed. I am unsure why Saint Xavier has Fairdale on the schedule. The benefits are minimal in my opinion.

I would prefer to see them schedule a stronger instate opponent, like Scott County or Covington Catholic. Or another strong out of state opponent, maybe Ensworth or Brentwood Academy. However St. Xavier does have a very tough schedule already so I guess an easy game or two is more than fair.

I believe this game is more to get back ups some PT. Starters probably just play 1 quarter.

What benefits?

Saint X should be ashamed to schedule such inferior opponents.

It does tend to taint the otherwise uptick in the program.

X should get the running clock in this one.

St. X's win over Catherdral is looking pretty impressive still, national 24th ranked Pickerington Central (OH) only beat Cathedral by 5 Friday. I'm not sure anybody left on St. X's schedule has much of a chance to beat them other than Trinity.

The Bulldogs and the Panthers both might argue they have a DECENT chance to beat the Tigers.

Not quite sure why they schedule Fairdale, but as stated earlier on the surface it would be to get some backups and younger players an opportunity to get varsity reps. But there could be other motives to have them on the schedule, I just don't know what they are.

If cincy Saint Xavier is still on their schedule, I would say that will probably be a loss.

I say male has a good chance to defeat the tigers, and Trinity would be about a 2-3 touchdown favorite based on who they have played.

St. Xavier definitely has weaknesses but I don't know if Male or PRP can expose those or not. As of now I say Male and Cincy St. X are the only teams that will beat St. Xavier this year but I could be wrong.
