Nice win for Garrard over 5A Lincoln.

Really impressive win for Garrard. Defense really kept the Lincoln offense in check, although the weather certainly helped against a pass-first club like the Patriots. Garrard had little trouble moving the ball all evening.

Not bad. Outside of Danville, it is probably the best field in the area. No obvious standing water and very little obvious wear and tear. I didn't notice too much slipping for either team and I think there was only one fumble. Lincoln's quarterback did appear to struggle with his grip on some throws.

Weather aided. Lol

 

Lincoln's strength is passing the ball. Not the right conditions for that.

Two touchdown passes actually. That's almost as rare as a unicorn at Garrard!

When Garrard came out after halftime in the wishbone and proceeded to ground up about seven minutes on the opening drive before scoring a touchdown it really felt like the game was over.

It may not be sexy, but it is tough to defend a team that just keeps running at you... Especially with Garrard's size.
