Bracken County 39 Pendleton County 6

Sounds like offense and defense clicking on all cylinders for PB's tonight

The Polar Bear domination was so strong, I am astonished the Wildcats were able to beat Nicholas last week. Not sure exactly who that observation speaks accurately about. Jury still out for me on Bears. Not out on Wildcats.

Great showing by the Bears. Appelman, Fisher, Brausch all played well in the backfield. Teegarden had some great plays as well as Mason Tucker. Hopefully they can ride this momentum.

Good win for the Polar Bears. Margin of victory was much bigger than what I expected.

Bracken (2-1) now prepares for a trip to Trimble County (1-1). The Raiders are off this week.

Pendleton County (2-1) makes a trip to Dayton (0-2). The Greendevils are also off this week.

After 25-0 halftime that saw Bracken Co. score on 4 consecutive possessions, Coach Brausch decided it was time to work on the passing game. Smart move. It was obvious against Ludlow last week that polishing the aerial game is going to be needed if the Bears are going to be competitive when playoff time is here. QB Brausch was given time with much better protection and completed 10 of 14 for 148 yards and two TDs. 40 yards to Mason Tucker and 28 yards to Tad Fisher. Both receivers showed good hands and elusiveness after the catch. You don't build a passing attack in one half of football, but this was an impressive start.

The Head Honcho said the Polar Bears would roll and they did! The final score was even more lopsided than I thought it would be. When you have a running back like Tad Fisher you get him the ball and watch him run! Coach Brausch has a thoroughbred and will ride him to victory after victory!

Trey Brausch did a very nice job at QB. With him and Tad Fisher, and the offensive line having another good game like that, they just might go 9-1
