What are everyone's thoughts/predictions on this match-up between a blue blood and a "new blood"?

I expect Danville to win but I think it'll be closer than some think.

Taking FD they have a kid that ran for over 1000 yards last year. They also have a good size OL.

Who's going to replace Zach Dampier for Danville? I'm told by several of the Danville faithful that the Ads passing game would be in real trouble this year with Dampier graduating last year. I'm hearing that they will really be one dimensional this season. Can anyone from Danville enlighten us.

I have heard that Thornton has thrown the ball well and with the dimension he adds running the ball it is another option. I have heard their offense will be just as good as last year.

Don't doubt the Ads can't knock off a bigger school. Certainly CalPreps (which had Freddy D ranked dead last in its class) thinks this one will be over by halftime.

 

And like you said in a different thread, not to get too excited about scrimmages (Freddy D waxing GRC).

 

I'm thinking this game is competitive, at least early.

If he can throw 5-10 yards, Danville will be great. Their offense will be one dimensional for sure...that dimension is speed.

Danville receiving core is really really talented I think I could throw the ball to any of those wide outs and have them go get it . A lot of speed . Harris is just icing on the cake. Give me the ads by 17+

Yes sir. I am, hitting the bowl at Lincoln County and at Danville, this weekend and figure it will be a good time. My first visit to both locations.
