Olympics to Paris in 2024, L.A. in 2028

Featured Replies

Summer Olympics are my favorite. Going out west to watch that is tempting. Plenty of time to plan. On the flipside that seems like a terrorists dream come true and also gives them plenty of time to plan.

Hopefully the Rams new stadium which by then will be 8 or 9 years old will be used instead of building a new facility. L.A. IMO should be in a rotation with Tokyo and maybe London to repeatedly host the summer olympics.

This. Pick four sites and let it rotate through those places only.

Same for Winter, that would keep expenses down and those facilities wouldn't fall apart as they could be used in off years for World Championships and other events.

But how would the IOC get there bribe money? Just like FIFA it will never change until corruption is taken out of the site selection process.

I am a little bit excited about the games coming back to LA. As a kid the '84 games were the first ones that I can remember and had interest in. Hard to believe that it will be 44 years between the two events.

I'd rather go to Paris than L.A. to see the Olympics. I have been to Paris once...wow...if you ever get the chance to go...GO...

So they picked 2 of the easiest citys for a terrorist attack. This should be fun.

Paris has been hit repeatedly, I'll give you that...remind me when was L.A. hit by terrorism?

I guess Nike had not been founded yet Papa...are you the guy leading the pack??

Where would you suggest they hold it?
