If you live, work or own property in Campbell County, you can get one.

Call Campbell Library. There used to be reciprocal borrowing program between some area libraries(KY & OHIO). Generally you had to show current ID with name and address along with active card from your home library to apply. Also, Boone could borrow the item from Campbell for you by doing what is called an Interlibrary Loan.

I'm assuming Boone Library does not have the book but Campbell does. You could also check with Boone Library and see if it is possible to download the book thru them. I know Kenton County Library has a ton of e-books and you could also apply for a non-resident card there as well.

Why wouldn't you just get one to the Boone County Library?

Unfortunately we have a beautiful building but not the book I want.

Ahh, didn't realize you were speaking of a specific book. Gotcha.

I sent them an email, I hope they make my day.

You need memberships to go to the library?

If you want to check something out or download, yes.

Who knew. Granted I havent been in a public library since High School.

Literally...everyone else. Hence the well-worn term: Library Card. :bunny:

Never had one of those.

I'd bet anything you could get a copy from Amazon, either digitally or the actual book. Might cost a few bucks, but considering the work you've already done, plus the drive to and from to pick it up and return it, it might be easier and worth a few bucks to just buy it. I can't even remember the last time I checked a book out of the library.

I download free audiobooks on my phone from the library all the time, it's great. Maybe that's an option to look into?

And you get to keep them on your phone?
