We have a small in ground "garden" flag. It's an NKU flag. Also have a Reds and UK flag that we put on it from time to time.

My wife wants to get a UofL flag for to put up on big game days. Her undergrad and MD are both from UofL.

I also have a Bavarian flag (my family is about 90% German) that I won as a prize for competing in the Cincinnati Foreign Language Festival in high school...I've been thinking about maybe hanging that up during Oktoberfest in the fall.

Not often enough to hardly any time at all. :bag:

I used to have a neighbor who was a Korean War vet. He had a pole in his yard with the US flag on it. Apparently if you don't have a light on the flag at night, you're supposed to lower it nightly (I actually didn't know that, and learned it from him). I'm paraphrasing, but when he told me about that detail of the flag code, he said something to the effect of, "I'll proudly fly the flag, but if Uncle Sam wants me to put a light on it at night, he should have accounted for that when he was issuing paychecks for my time in Korea."

Not at home, but I have the US Army flag proudly displayed on my office wall.

That reminds me...I've got this print hanging on my office wall (minus the barnwood frame):

No lights on ours unfortunately and although we are aware of the flag code and when to raise and lower it, sometimes life gets in the way.
