I hate how it seems in every Ashland thread the 'haters' always have to post negative rumors and personal opinions just to 'stir the pot.'

It’s obvious from your remarks that you’re a “hater” – but after a few Tomcat fans “got on your case” about your posts in this thread you try to act like a fan.

Perhaps this match up doesn’t have any marquee value outside of our immediate area BUT how can you not get motivated for this game? It’s the start of district play, its Homecoming and we are playing against a team which is certainly capable of beating us. Although I think I understand where you are coming from with your observation about GC coming to town, I sincerely hope the Tomcats aren’t suffering from the same perspective.

:thumb: Good post painter, i can't imagine Ashland overlooking GCHS either. Some of the fans may be but the players better not be:eek: and I don't think that they will. GCHS will play hard EVERY play no matter the score. Imo Raceland overlooked them somewhat and it just about burned us. Ashland wins this one by a 2 or 3 TD's in wearing down GCHS in the 2nd half.

I think you are right on target oldrambler. :thumb: GCHS is on the rise and will bring their A game. I don't think the Tomcats will pull away intil the second half.
