May 10, 20179 yr A lot of hot takes being thrown around in this thread and on cable news. One thing we know for a fact Trump himself was not being investigated about collusion with Russia. Confirmed by both Clapper and Comey. This right now by all evidence anyone in this thread knows is a fact. A couple surrogates such as Flynn were and are being invesitgated for potential shady or comprised positions. The one thing that gets lost in this is democrat officals and people directly tied to the Clinton camp have had similar shady relationships with Russian officals. But its easy to forget that. Again Trump is not under investigation. Earlier today many on the left and some in the media were calling for or hinting at Comey needing to go because of a report he lied infront of congress. Now when he is fired we have everyone who hates him going full Info Wars and conspiracy theoires. If you read the article in the Wall Street Journal the DOJ was waiting for the Deputy AG to be confirmed and conduct a review on Comey. This Deputy AG is deemed apolitical because he led the Baltimore office under both Preisdent Bush and Obama. So everyone take a deep breath and read all information before you take hot takes on cable news as fact. I mean Jeffrey Toobin on CNN is outright speculating and making subjective opinions seem like objective facts.
May 10, 20179 yr 1.) Why would the director of the FBI have his mailed screened? Wouldn't that take some type of security clearance for someone other Comey to read his mail? I didn't mean someone actually opening it and reading it, I meant screened as in who it came from and then prioritized. 2.) If his office is in Quantico where the headquarters are how can he get his mail while he is in Los Angeles? It could have been faxed to L.A. for all anyone knows, or flown directly there for that matter. I imagine the President knew he was in L.A. rather than Virginia. 3.) Or maybe the incompetence is coming from the Trump administration who reportedly didn't think there would be as much political fallout over him being fired. I must have missed something, what political fallout? 4.) Or maybe the Trump administration simply wanted to embarrass Comey and decided that firing him in the most unprofessional way possible was something they wanted to do to make a point. May 10, 20179 yr Firing Comey because he helped influence the election is just as wrong as firing Comey because he is leading the investigation against your administration into election collusion with Russia. Now Trump can hand pick the next director of the FBI. Kind of makes you wonder about the FBI investigation into Russian collusion will go forward in the future....... What investigation?

I've said from the start if something illegal was done by Trump I would be first in line to call for his head the problem is there is zero evidence and so many normally intelligent people are talking impeachment with a GOP led congress. CNN actually ran a good article and segment on TV yesterday exploring gow Trump has turned mainstream democrats into conspiracy theorists.

To think that the President of the United States of America can't get a letter or the information contained in a letter anywhere in the country in a short period of time isn't logical. And yes, there are people in the FBI that would have security clearance to pass the fax message or information from a letter along. Unless they have changed something after Hillary thinking it was okay to send classified info via gmail.
May 10, 20179 yr Who said he did something illegal? I thought you were going along with the impeachment talk in here. If you weren't my bad. Impeachment would mean Trump did something wrong. If Flynn is prosecuted that doesn't mean there is a case to impeach Trump.
