May 10, 20179 yr Actually the FBI Director is usually expected to be a non-political position. Comey worked for Bush and was appointed by Obama. Expected, maybe but the fact is the FBI Director is a political appointee that serves at the will of the POTUS.

Comey was fired after Deputy AG Rosenstein, comfirmed by a 94-6 vote, who is Comey's boss, reviewed the Director's actions and recommended he be fired. But hey, let's not let facts get in the way of a good conspiracy theory. The director serves a 10 year term and has historically been fired for doing something incredibly wrong in his position. What incredibly wrong did Comey do? You do understand that the facts are that Trump said Comey was fired over the Hillary email scandal? You do understand that right?
