I figured let's get this discussion started. Most of ya probably think that Catholic will blow East out but I am telling ya East is capable of pulling the upset. Let's talk.

Shouldn't East finish their game with Western Hills before they begin the LexCath discussion? I believe the score is 14-0 at the half.

East doesn't stand a chance against Cath, look for this one to be a blowout.

Is east really that much of an underdog?

I would say east is a huge under dog in this game, they do not have the speed any where to hang with Catholic. East May have the line play and the power running to stay in it a while but they have no answer for the skill kids of Catholic.

Catholic may be faster but I can tell ya that East is stronger. The game is at the Jungle Catholic won't win that easy. This game I believe will go down to the wire.

East is a lot better than last year, but still not good enough to beat Lex Cath, Knights win 42-13.

 

IMO, East is battling with Harrison for the #3 playoff spot in this district behind Lex Catholic and Franklin.

From what I've seen East looks pretty fast. The running backs are fast with Rex Hager (sp?) and the corners look fast and should be able to hang with anyone on Lex-caths team.

East having the speed to hang with Catholic is laughable. There are very few if any teams in 3A with the speed of Catholic. If East is going to have any chance they will play ball control and keep the Catholic Offense on the sideline. And if you want to see how much speed East has just punt or kick it deep to Revere and you'll find out real quick.

East is an all around solid team. Lex-cath will be looking for the big play. Thats why this game will stay close. I look for east to pull out the upset.
