Being from Western Ky we dont get to consistently play high level competition, so it's nice to play tough and see how long we can hang in there. I think short, young bench at the end of half was our disadvantage. Some of those players are 01s.

KHA U19 Red beat a very tough KFJ team in OT by a score of 5-3 in the semis on Saturday.

 

KHA moved on to play 4 time winner LFC, in the finals, they were able to pull out a 4-3 win in a back and forth Championship.

Agree, I could not believe the play over the last 20 minutes, pretty high level of play by both teams. On the particular sequence you mentioned, I thought for sure he would call a foul on the initial contact with the goalie, luckily he got up and was able to get to the ball.

That sounds more than stressful for GK mom!

Bummer, I think they turn on the cooling system for the fields when it hits 95. At least they are not playing in the middle of the afternoon.
