That's a shame...

Defense gave up some big scores there in the 2nd half......great effort on the part of the Birds traveling 2 hours north against a powerful Ohio team. Any word on weather conditions? raining cats and dogs like down here?

In HHS' 3 losses so far, 2 of the losses (Elder and DeSales) involved the 'Birds giving up some big plays/making some kep mistakes in games they probably should have won.

HHS had four shots at the endzone to end the game from around the 15 and couldn't get it in...

They can not beat a good team with a single back they need some full house back fields. What do you think? that single works in NKY but its time to start winning the games with the big boys.

DeSales is a very good program. I have seen them play a couple of times in the past. No shame here.

Hats off to the Birds and coaching staff! Most predicted a blowout in favor of the home team... But we need to figure out why we are losing close games? I can't remember when we were close and pulled out a victory, but I am old and tired and could be wrong. As I remember we usually punish average teams, but lose (very close ) games consistently. I used to think it was due to playing guys both ways, but the coaches have managed to correct this fatigue problem for the most part. I know the team is in excellent shape throughout the entire year, but can't figure why we can't seem to win the really close games. I.E. Tonight and Elder... Any consulation or criticism of my analogy would be welcome.

They run a 2 back backfield....The other back was suspended for three games..

What did Kramer do tonight?

Key on # 4 and #41 thats all .They need to get more players in the mix. The

better teams HHS plays have big fast players and if all you do is run #4 and #41 you just key on them . This team has no passing game at all.

Sorry about that they can pass a little when they play nky teams.

Where were the DeSales blowout predictions? I must have missed them.

Highlands beat CovCath last year 28 - 21, in a close game.

To be honest, if you do that #23 will have a lot of yards....

Conner has been back since last week. He should have been in the backfield tonight to provide the tandem threat along with Cecil. HHS will be fine once it comes time to beat the teams they should when it counts. The cov Cath game will be one of the best in the state in just over a month.

Good luck HHS now its time to make your run for #17

p.s. # 23 is a good ball player like to see him get it a little more.
