Danville's belong on the Mount Rushmore of helmets in Kentucky. Those are just classic. Glad they went back to silver after having white helmets for a while.

I really like Manual's, as well.

Definitely the best two from this batch.

I like the color scheme for East Carter too.

Thank goodness East Ridge got rid of these ugly things.

Is that a headdress?

This group started off strong but faded down the stretch. I like Danville's, DeSales, Dixie, Manual and East Carter.

Doss has a unique logo, have their helmets ever sported that decal?

Danville may very well be my favorite in the entire state... well at least as long as they stick to the blue and silver.

The fact they went away from those jersies was criminal and I am so glad they have came back to them.

East Carter is the surprise of the batch.Really like their's especially if they went "stormtrooper" with all white.

Manual is solid. Their jersey reflects their program in my mind. It is solid, respected, and classic...but just wouldn't make my shortlist of the best of the best.

I don't dislike DeSales' by any means, but it just has never spoke to me as standing out.

Doss is the biggest loser in this group. So far one of my least favorite combos and as pointed out, it is almost a shame when you have a cool mascot and cool logo.

East Jessamine and Eminence both are pretty bad as well. The letter on the back of the helmet is a swing and miss in my book.

LOL good analogy

I always liked Alabama's helmets with nothing but the single-side roster number, but at this point I think it's way too overdone. I particularly don't like it when there's a logo on one side and then a roster number on the other side of the helmet. 5 you hardly ever saw that look, but now I'd bet there are probably a quarter of all the teams out there who use it.

I know there are some teams who go for unique and end up with a swing and a miss, but I think standing out with a unique helmet is much better than being a part of the meme.

I'm a fan of this look. It's close to one of, if not my all time favorite UK look when Curry was there in the 90's.

That blue/white look with a touch of black being used as the decals/number outline and black mask on a white helmet?! The only thing I'd change here is that the E is royal, but outlined in black. Same for the stripes down the helmet.

That one is tough to beat.

Oh, and it's Danville then everybody else.
