I believe JC had 3 fumbles tonight... and Tommy Taylor picked off a BC pass, is this correct?

According to the radio, both teams had 3 turnovers. One of BC's came on the blocked punt.

The field was in bad shape, but it didnt prove to be that big of a problem for either team. If Boyd County plays the rest of their district games like the did tonight, they very well could be the 2nd or 3rd play-off team.

JC is 2-0 in the district, 3 more BIG games left to go.

I actually didn't think BC played particularly well tonight. They only had 136 yards total offense. They broke one big kickoff for a score, returned a fumble for the other and gave up 63 points. They may sneak into the playoffs but there is No Way they are going to beat Ashland for the number two spot. (yes I realize what I just said) And I'm not sure they can beat Lawrence, Mason and Greenup.

great to see chase richardson back at 100 per cent. Nice job Eagles. Really can't wait for J.K. to return. Brian Childers had two very nice plays also. The Eagles are looking pretty good!!! Hey excience was my prediction close? lol

BTW...who turned in the score to the KHSAA? It has it listed as 50-18

Not a great game by the Eagles tonight but its a win. The defense was solid as ever tonight holding the BC offense out of the endzone for the whole night. The turnovers by JC tonight and the bad play on special teams could hurt JC against a good team. JC will get these problems corrected and should be back at full strength next week. Good to see Chase Richardson running the ball tonight strong, Blake Johnson was a plain out bull and couldnt be brung down by one man alone, and Shawn Grimm, well, he was Shawn Grimm and once again had 216 yds rushing and 4 TD's. The hogs up front for JC did a good job tonight against a # of different defensive fronts allowing the backs to run for almost 500 yds. I think the bad play of JC tonight could have been because they were looking to the game this week against the kitties, but had this been a good team, we may have been looking at a loss tonight.

Yea, too bad I didnt do those one arm finger-tip push-ups! I cant wait until next weeks game!

Isn't it just like an Ashland fan to think everything revolves around them?

Awesome, simply awesome!!!:D

Yea... uh, we play the tigers next week, not the kittens:rolleyes: ... or at least I thought so... wow, I'm confused:confused: .. apple bowl= eagles v. tigers(who happen to be a good team for 2A play) w/ "the best QB in the mountains", should be an interesting game at p-ville, as always, I'm sure the stands (at least on the JC side) will be overflowing.... see you all friday:fight:

Okay, were are you from. First of all Paintsville is a 1A school not a 2A school and the best QB in the mountains you are refering to is Daniel Pugh, but he cant do it all himself and his is about all that P-ville has on that team. This game will be decided in the trenches and JC is overwhelmingly better than P-ville in that catergory on both sides of the ball. But you are right JC's side will be packed to the gills.

JC's overall opponent record.

9-23

JC's overall opponent record.

9-23

And JC's average score against those opponents?

44.5 - 9.8 points per game.

I know we haven't exactly played the NFC East here, but it's not like we haven't been doing exactly what we were supposed to with them, either.
