Best WR's in the Mountains?

Featured Replies

Tommy Taylor of Johnson Central is a dangerous one, has good speed and quite the height advantage on most DB's.

:thumb: he is a good one.....

Soph #7 Hunter Adams & #34 Dalin Farr are both excellent receivers.

I dont remember what team it this kid played for... wymt sports overtime gave them their catch of the night a few weeks ago, this kid had some major air. He looked to be a very good WR.

Logan Baker #29-South Laurel. Very talented and hard working young man.

Dobbs #85 from clay county, is a big physical kid. He can catch a ball over anybody.

Cole...hands down.....Hamblin from Williamsburg is a good one too

Rusty Herald and Ryan Allen on the sideline of Breathitt County are starting to make names for themselves. Herald is a junior with alot of speed and great hands. Allen is not afraid to go over the middle and also has a good pair of hands. Channing Fugate who also plays for the Bobcats is only a freshman but has already made a name for himself around Jackson with some outstanding catches. Look out for these guys they are a blast to watch.

Who are the best recievers in the mountains so far this year?

I would easily take John Cole from Somerset over anyone.

I grew up in Somerset as a kid. I don't remember any mountains in Somerset.

Yeah but they're included in the WYMT broadcast area and are eligible for the Mountain Top 10 as well as being in one of the "mountain" districts and regions.

Cole is one of the best in the state let alone the mountains. He is the only weapon the Jumpers have and teams still can't stop him. They know it is going to him and he catches it anyway and get YACs like a madman.

I would have to say zachery/Bell, Madon/Corbin, Adams & Farr/Middlesboro

and Combs/Pineville are all up at the top. Excellent hands, hard nose kids, great attitudes hard to beat young men.

John Cole - The best football player I have seen in a long tme.

I would have to agree with pallex32. The Ryan Allen and Rusty Herald have made some big catches for Breathitt this year. This team has surprised some people. Also, that Channing Fugate kid is going to be a name to watch the next few years. He is a special talent from what I have seen, as a freshman he plays some running back, some wide-out, punter, and place kicker. Watch out for these players the next couple of years.

Hold on isn't Mercer Co. a mountain team and didn't their 2nd string wide receiver run a 2.6 forty or something? Just kidding Cole is the best this year by a lot.
