So are you saying these two are the best in the mountains? Or just the best on your team?

Sorry to make it sound like that. I know that Will Pope has had some offers from college, not sure if they're for punting or receiving, but he has the size and the hands to be considered one. However, its hard to get the receiving yards that make you stand out when you're being double covered like he is. IMO, Pope and Cole (somerset) are they best two in the mountains.

Who is giviing Pope offers....do you know?

Rusty Herald and Ryan Allen on the sideline of Breathitt County are starting to make names for themselves. Herald is a junior with alot of speed and great hands. Allen is not afraid to go over the middle and also has a good pair of hands. Channing Fugate who also plays for the Bobcats is only a freshman but has already made a name for himself around Jackson with some outstanding catches. Look out for these guys they are a blast to watch.

Allen has proven himself by making some spectacular plays to help maintain a record for his Bobcat team of 5 wins against 1 loss. The Bobcats averaged 32.166 points per game over the first six games and held their opponets to 18.5 points per game average.

The problem Breathitt has is that they have so many talented receivers that the passes are spread around to four receivers as well as to the running backs so that the per player average of receptions might not be as high as per a one horse team.

According to the numbers Matt Dobbs and Phillip Dunn of Clay County are two of the top 10 recievers playing on the same team. Add to that Mix Cam Rice and The Bullock Kid and clay has a stable full of recievers to catch passes from Zack Lewis.

I dont know if anyone has mentioned him but how about South Laurels #85 Terry Bingham?
