swamprat
American Conference Championship. #107 in a row. In 3 meetings this year, UConn has outscored USF by 149 points. USF beat #2 seed Temple last night to earn the right to get the crap drummed out of them again.

swamprat
The funny part is that the committee tends to put USF in the same bracket with UConn, so there is a possibility this could happen, yet again.

coldweatherfan
UCONN continues to make a mockery of Women's Basketball. Maybe it's the rest of the WNCAA that male a mockery of it.
coldweatherfan
Maybe the guy is just that much better of a coach. Maybe he just has a better eye for real talent than the rest. Yes he did rake in one of the best recruiting classes ever in 2012, but those girls are all gone. In general his classes aren't ranked any better than Notre Dame, Duke, North Carolina, Stanford, etc. Recruiting rankings from his current team, according to Hoopgurlz 2013 - #93 2014 - #14, #16, #31, #33 2015 - #1, #6, #23 2016 - #3 and 2 girls outside the top
jlow
Maryland, Notre Dame, and Baylor all have a shot of beating UConn this year. If one of them does not, this win streak will be in the 150 or better range. I don't think UCONN has any seniors do they?
coldweatherfan
Chong and Butler are seniors. Chong starts, Butler is 2nd or 3rd off the bench.

You must have missed past discussions on this board, most think they couldn't beat a boys JV High School team.

Everyone thought this would be the year to get them :lol2: That would be Azura Stevens. She was arguably the best player in the ACC last year. Transferred from Duke. Tulane mucked it up, made it ugly, and gave themselves a chance to win at home, but couldn't pull it out. Maryland lost by 6 at their own house. Uconn beat both Baylor and Notre Dame by 11, but those were fairly early in the year, and they are both capable. Personally, I think Louisville might be the toughest match-up for UCONN.
