The difference was masons errors were self-inflicted. Mason caused the majority of the Campbell errors. No way Campbell wins that game by 10 in any form or fashion

 

I completely disagree with your statement. Campbell caused problems for Mason the entire first half. Mason struggled with Campbells zone defense the whole first half and then struggled down the stretch of the game with Campbells full court press which caused Mason to turn the ball over which resulted in Campbell cutting the lead back down to 4 from a 12 point deficit. I guess those turnovers were self inflicted as well. Campbell switched to a half court man defense in the second half for a short period of time and that is when Mason went on their big run. I feel if Campbell would have stayed in the zone the whole game then the outcome would have definitely favored the Lady Camels. I'm not taking anything away from Mason County they played hard and got the win but no way they beat Campbell by 10. Give Campbell credit they lost 7 of their top 11 from last season and still had a very good chance to go state again this year. That's the problem I have on here is that nobody has given Campbell any credit at all this year but yet they have competed with everyone they have played this year and had just as good of a chance as the other top 3 teams to go to state. In my opinion there wasn't but a few point difference between all 4 of the top teams.

Did not see it mentioned but I was shocked at the behavior of some of the Mason fans. If I was running the place, the 67 year old man who would charge the court after every call he disagreed with, would have been shown a very quick exit.

CC switched between zone and man the entire game until the 4th quarter when Mason decided to hold the ball. Then CC had to go man.

Wrong, I expect GRC to win next year as well. I'd say they'll have a couple transfers come in next year to help replace Hardiman.
