This is the way you address the situation.

We'll hear about Sen Cotton quite a bit over the next few elections.

I liked Cotton's response.

It is insulting to label Americans who voice their concerns these days as paid or unamerican.

I think I'll see where Mitch is visiting.

You should go express your concerns. The issue in America right now is the concern over the concerns.

I can get us in free......

Some radio host for the 63am station in Lexington's afternoon political broadcast, the guy that follows Rush's broadcast, said today that the ruckus at the Townhall meetings was a carefully orchestrated plan by DNC officials to disrupt the meetings and gain national attention. He said they had even produced a "How to do" manual explaining how 20 people in a room of 200 can make it seem like they're the majority in the room. The manual explains how to try to scatter their representatives throughout the room and sit very passively until the question and answer sessions begin, then stand up to try to be recognized by the politician and be as volatile as possible when asking their question, scream, make gestures, cry if possible.....in general make the meeting seem chaotic. And hope the media only show the dramatic questions from the infiltrators and skip the other folk's questions for their news reports.

I don't know if he had seen a copy of the pamphlet or not, but this is what he told his radio listeners today.

Here is the story from the Cincinnati Enquirer on McConnell's visit to N. Ky. on Thursday. A lot of protestors.

McConnell: Protesters 'having a hard time getting over the election'

Republicans should be showing up at McConnell's events to heckle him. Democrats should be there applauding his efforts. McConnell has been an obstructionist to the conservative agenda for decades.

This is all part of the Organize for Action group's training program. Obama's campaign morphed into Organizing for American and then into Organize for Action. By whatever name the group calls itself, it is the same campaign of disinformation that was rooted in the teaching of Saul Alinsky that gave us the eight long years of the Obama presidency.

I guess folks have missed the videos of Creamer admitting the DNC pays him to organize protests to disrupt anything Trump...

There may be some of those people out there, but I am not one of those people and there are several on both sides that are irate with their Senators.

To label all people as paid protestors is short sighted and an attempt to undermine any views that are against McConnell, Trump, and the GOP.

TBH, it's about time the nation holds the legislative branch accountable. If we KYians will remember on Election Day in a few years.

Not from what I read.

You wouldn't want to sit with me, JJ.

Where were you 8 years ago, when Obama began ignoring the U.S. Constitution? Where were you on the Fast and Furious scandal? Where were you on the IRS oppression of conservative non-profits? Where were you when Hillary Clinton, through her better half, was peddling influence to the Russians? Where were you a year ago when the same kind of abuse of power in the executive branch was ongoing?

I would say that it is way past time to hold the executive branch accountable for its actions. A great place to start would be to hold the outlaws in the Obama executive branch accountable for their actions. Holding them accountable would send a powerful message to the members of the Trump administration.

Did we not just hold the executive branch accountable by sending the Trump bomb to Washington?

Are those original or do you have a diary of rantings you can copy and paste ? :lol2:

Absolutely original. Hypocrisy always deserves fresh condemnation. I made the observation during the Obama administration that his abuse of power was setting a horrible precedent. Any time that a president and his administration gets away with dodging accountability by destroying evidence that was under Congressional subpoena, it should be a great concern to ALL Americans, regardless of their political affiliation. Now the same people who defended Obama's abuse of power for 8 years, present company included, are calling for accountability for the Trump administration. I just cannot understand how people do this and look themselves in the mirror every morning. Do you own a comb or do you see the same thing in mirrors that vampires do? :lol2:

(When I copy and paste or paraphrase somebody else's words, I always cite my source and if the source is available in digital format, I try to provide a link. That is the only honorable, honest way to conduct oneself, IMO.)
