Mayfield vs Paducah Tilghman

Featured Replies

Sad thing is that looks like the weather will play a decided factor in the game tonight...may help the Cards...may hurt them too. Everyone will have to make sure to hang on tight to the ball...guess this game can be called "MUD BOWL 2006"...just leave your credit cards at the door...lol

This is the 93rd meeting between Mayfield and Paducah Tilghman.

Paducah has 47 wins.

Mayfield has 35 wins.

There have been 10 ties.

REcords at Mayfield show

PT---- 46

May---36

10 Ties

The latest weather forecast is calling for brief strong storms with lightning to pass through between 5pm-11pm. Also, the wind gusts for Mayfield tonight look to be around 15-30 mpd at gametime.

Mayfield's field drains very well and could be ok if the rain lets up by lunch. Turnovers and field position will be even more pivotal it looks!

I'm a little surprised there's not more prognostications on this one...I can sure remember when these 2 teams absolutely despised each other and the game was the last game of the year and more times than not , decided who went on to the playoffs..I guess now that they're in different classes and has less importance, it's lost alot of it's luster..You'd actually think these 2 teams liked each other now..Can that be? Oh, How times have changed...

That's it, I'm gonna get you at the game:lol:

Mr. West

I wish to ask your take on this game?

Well, I won't be there then ...

Just a joke ... I would imagine Mayfield being one of the last independent systems to give up the ship.

My take on the game ... don't have a real feel for it, except that I think it could go either way. If it doesn't turn into a turnover-fest, I think it will be a fairly high-scoring game.
