February 16, 20179 yr I'm so glad to see none of you wants the president to fail... You know, because if he fails we fail, right? I want him to succeed. I wanted every one of them to succeed. Obama didn't succeed in many things IMHO. I'm hoping Trump does better but am concerned in these early days.

February 16, 20179 yr Many on the Left could care less if he fails. Seems like a gross overstatement. I will grant that too many do wish for failure but "most" is just too much IMO.
February 16, 20179 yr Seems like a gross overstatement. I will grant that too many do wish for failure but "most" is just too much IMO. I didn't say most, I said many.

I know you want him to succeed. And I don't have a problem with anyone that wants policy they don't agree with to fail. But, I do see some on here that just want him to fail completely and miserably. Good to see some care so much about the country.

February 16, 20179 yr There it is. Took almost a half hour. The cons are at least exercising a modicum of restraint.
February 16, 20179 yr I'm so glad to see none of you wants the president to fail... You know, because if he fails we fail, right? Agenda first, self second, country ... Well way down the list for libs. Or, maybe people want competent members in Trump's cabinet because that would be good for the country. Is Trump infallible?
February 16, 20179 yr Or, maybe people want competent members in Trump's cabinet because that would be good for the country. Is Trump infallible? I posted this in another thread. . My hope is that Trump finds better advice. One of the great things I thought Reagan had going for him was the group he put together around him that really handled a lot and were able to tell him what would or wouldn't work in Washington. Trump, IMO, hasn't really found that group and I'm not really confident in the ones he has around him.
February 16, 20179 yr Or, maybe people want competent members in Trump's cabinet because that would be good for the country. Is Trump infallible? I think it's more like the constant opposition is for people who act and think like them. They won't be happy until all of Trumps cabinet is gone and he resigns so they can continue the grand plan of the destruction of a sovereign nation.
February 16, 20179 yr Or, maybe people want competent members in Trump's cabinet because that would be good for the country. Is Trump infallible? Maybe your idea of competent and someone else's is different. If they can do the job, like them or not, they are competent.
February 16, 20179 yr Took almost a half hour. The cons are at least exercising a modicum of restraint. Which is more than we can say for the Left these days.
February 16, 20179 yr Or, maybe people want competent members in Trump's cabinet because that would be good for the country. Is Trump infallible? Sorry, with some, I think they simply want him to fail and damn the country so long as they get what they crave so sorely.
February 16, 20179 yr Sorry, with some, I think they simply want him to fail and damn the country so long as they get what they crave so sorely. Not here. I wish the best for the country. It's just that what I think is best and what the POTUS thinks is best have not exactly been in sync so far.
