Berea vs. Raceland

Featured Replies

Never forget that although they look like men on the field they're still kids. You don't know just how hard it is on these boys unless you've been down there at the field house after a loss like Fridays. As for the rude fans. I've heard them many times and had to bite my tongue and put my hands in my pockets. Remember these kids are giving it they're all out there and if mistakes are made it's not on purpose. Give them ALL your support.

GO RAMS.

It’s difficult to sit idly by while witnessing something like you described oldram. Unfortunately, you find these “fans” in every sport and even around junior league athletics. I’m always amazed when I observe it too but have learned that you can’t argue with ignorant people….they drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

:thumb: Another good post, I wasn't there but I can almost guess who the individual was that oldram was referring to.

This is Raceland football. If you want to criticize the players do it quitely. If you're in Ram Stadium you will always be close to a parent, grandparent, brother, sister, aunt, uncle, etc.

:D " We Are Family" :D

Rams - 42

Berea - 7

This will be a good HOMECOMING win to get the RAMS offense back on track to what we all know they CAN do!

I do know LCA's defense and Coaching preparation was a huge difference in last week's game - but Berea doesnt have either to there advantage this week.

Good luck to both teams!

You are correct. The LCA defense has some serious speed and played their keys perfect. Raines is one of the best high schol coaches in the state. What type of offense does Berea run this year?

This one should be big win for the Rams but you never know. I hope that Raceland can get their offense straighted out and come back from a tough loss very strong.

Rambler, I was shocked when I heard the score this weekend!

What happened?

The Rams ran up against a very well prepared, well coached team who came ready to play is the best way that I can describe it. I still believe that Raceland has the better team but on last Friday night LCA was the better team. No excuses - we flat got beat, LCA deserved the win. They played very well and we never got the passing game working and a lot of that was due to LCA's game plan and their kids executing.

Very Well Said OldRambler.

Let's just hope the Rams come out ready to play this Friday.

Let's use all of our weapons, several receivers and several running backs

and let's get a big WIN in RAMLAND!!

Raceland by as many as they want to win by, could possibly be 100-0 if they want it to be that way. I'm sure they will show class and not beat Berea that bad.

I felt Raceland could have made some adjustments and made a better showing. They seemed to stick with the same plays even though it wasn't working.

Why is Berea so bad?

I'm not sure, they used to field some pretty good teams a few years ago. I don't know about this year but for the past couple of years their number of players has been way down.

Why is Berea so bad?

Havent they had several Coaching changes over the recent years as well?

That makes it difficult to get continuity/consistency with the kids - thus the number of players coming is reflected...

I hope Berea kids stick it out - because they HAVE to love the game under these conditions.
