Ryle is rolling...they're going to be handful for the NKY 4A District.

This score stuns me, I thought the Camels would play it close until the gun. It was only 10-7 at half. I would love to hear details.

Agreed--Apparently Ryle is better than advertised or Campbell has a lot more work to do to compete for that "# 1 4-A in NKY title"??

Must have been a heckova halftime speech in the Ryle locker room!! Did the kids that have been hurt for Ryle (QB, etc.) play tonight??

Nevermind, saw the highlights and it looked like plenty of self-destructing on the Camels part.

With the score only 13-7 in the 3rd, a snap over the punters head gives Ryle the ball at the 20 and they punch it in, followed by a fumble returned for a TD by Murray....ballgame.

Campbell County is capable of beating all of the remaining 4A teams on their schedule.

Ryle's 3 players returned but our QB did not have a good game. Campbell is a good football team and will make the playoffs IMO. Ryle just hit a ton and forced a lot of TO's on great hits. Good job Raiders. Ryle had one TD and another close to TD run by Murray and Gray called back by dumb penalties. This game could have been much worse.

I agree this game could have been much worse. Ryle forced multiple turnovers that they did not capitalize on. Campbell did a good job of stopping Ryle with a short field. Ryle did have some dumb penalties that moved them out of field goal range. Ryle's defense was great. They had some monster hits tonight.

Didn't it all balance out with the freebies Campbell gave them?

I cant believe that first half. The camels had way to many turnovers yet the score was 13-7. They have potential if they can figure out there offense. on the other hand Ryle owned them and probally scored over 3/4 there points off camels turnovers.

Most of the TO's were caused by solid hits on the football or pressure on the QB that caused bad throws. The only thing the Camels gave us was a bad snap on a punt. I don't call forced turnovers freebies. Ryle took care of the football, Campbell did not.

Well said! :thumb:

This game can be summarized as follows:

1) 8 CC Turnovers (I believe 3 fumbles and 5 picks). Ryle's D is solid but the Camels insisted on shooting themselves in the foot all evening. Despite the interceptions, the Camel's QB (Brown #12) gave a valiant effort. The Camel "O" is much better than what they showed on Friday night.

2) Field Position. Ryle's kicking game was incredible. They kept the Camels backed up for most of the game. The punter (#28) did a good job and the place kicker (Uminger #14) was outstanding. This kid has to be a D1 prospect. What a leg! The Camel's PK Hildebrand did not get a chance to showcase his stuff. He's got a cannon for a leg as well.

Despite the score, it was a hard hitting, fun game to watch. It was close all the way up to the the 4th Quarter where 3 Camel TO's lead to easy Ryle scores.

Ryle is well on their way. The Camels must make some adjustments but they will be in the thick of the 4A District hunt.

Nice win for Ryle. I was only off by one point in my prediction. I predicted a 35-7 win for the Raiders.
