The CCH young big man list is an embarrassment of riches.

 

All of these would get quality minutes on the varsity level this year at many schools:

 

Nick Thelen

Tyler Fleek

Michael Mayer

Paul Thelan

 

Add in the Green kid on the frosh team and don't count 6'4 Jack Davin , 6'3 6'4 CJ Fredrick, or 6'2 TJ Deere who are wing players and you have a big, big bunch of players to run out there.

Regardless of expectations, out of respect for Highlands and the athletic program rivalry between these two great schools, those are three quality road wins for the Colonels. Good job boys!

 

Give Finfrock credit. He battled but I believe he had 6 of his shots blocked. Jake is long.

Agreed on Finfrock. It was good for Big Jake to compete against a true post player. Sounds like he rose to the challenge. The true 5 is a vanishing breed in basketball. Nice to see two horses go at it!

 

Wow, that says a lot of for the past teams with post players that beat up the Birds.

 

Walters shuts down players big or small simply with his reach. The only thing that wasn't happening tonight was Finfrock being able to push Walters around.

Yep he shoots at a very high percentage but literally needs a touch every time down the floor in my opinion.

Question for CCH fans...where is the Dunbar game being played?
